1. How long you have been a makeup artist.

- I have been a professional makeup artist since 2018. That’s when I attended makeup school at Blanche McDonald Centre in Vancouver. But I have been doing makeup since 2015. What I love about doing makeup is working on different features! Everyone's face is always different and I love creating a look that comes to life on each person. Especially working in the film industry. It's always a new story, a new script. You'll be doing beauty makeup one day and the next you're making someone look beat up!

 

2. Favourite style of makeup 

- My favourite style and what I love to do and get booked for is natural makeup or natural glam. I love to make sure you still look like you but enhanced!

 

3. Career Highlights

-Attending Blanche MacDonald Centre in 2018

-Launching my own business Starks Artistry in 2019

-Pursuing my career in the film industry, and becoming a makeup permittee in 2020 and then a official IASTE 856 member in 2023.

-Being an assistant makeup artist on The Long Walk, a Steven King novel that hit theatres in 2025, my first big feature film.  

 

4. 2 fun facts about me

Fact 1) I’m a big cat lover, have two of my own! Two bengal cats named Pepper and Sarabi. I treat them like my children and love them so much. 

Fact 2) my favourite place I’ve travelled so far is Asia, Thailand.
